The flag debate!

The (binding) referendum to decide whether to keep the present New Zealand flag or change to the Kyle Lockwood designed one is well underway.  Voting papers have been sent out to eligible voters. (Students will be able to vote in their own version of a referendum.....with realistic voting papers and returning officers, the result will not however affect the official result).
Room 8 had their own vote on the 4th March and 26% would vote for the new flag.

Wheels' Day

Just a reminder to dust off your bike, skates, scooter, skateboard and get ready for our 'Wheels' Day' on Wednesday 2nd March.......remember you must wear a helmet!!

Week 4

Years 7 and 8 have joined together and have been involving themselves with Science and technology and French over the past few weeks.  Year 6's are getting stuck into Science and co-operative activities.  Plenty of enthusiastic learning!  And what fab weather!!

Term 1

What a busy start to the school year!  Week 3 already, the term is whizzing by!  We have been enjoying the fab weather and getting into the swing of things in room 8.

End of the year!

A busy, interesting year is fast drawing to a close.  Wishing all in room 8 a fab Christmas break and a relaxing holiday!
